Country IT Lead

Kelly Services C.I.S. on behalf of its client, a global B2B Company, with a strong presence in Russia is searching for Country IT Lead.

Overall Role Purpose:
• Accountable for delivering IT services to the Logistics Division business units in Russia
• Accountable for BU/customer satisfaction with IT
• Provide strong leadership to the country IT team

A person, in this key role, is to:
Strategy:
• Define the country IT strategy (short and long term) in accordance with the regional/ global IT strategy
• Act as a key member of the country management team, setting country directions and strategies.
• Implementation of the IT Integration / Strategy and Planning projects at a country / regional level.
• Contribute to improving business P&L through effective management of IT services and solutions.
• Management of the IT Budget and creation of business cases for required investments.
• Contribute to the convergence of local applications to the strategic product portfolio.

Business Partner:
• Ensure that IT activities are aligned with each of the business unit’s goals and priorities.
• Establish regular reviews with business leaders – raising the visibility and value of IT.

Project Delivery:
• Co-ordinate the planning of project delivery requirements
• Ensure effective delivery of IT projects – on time and within budget

Operate:
• Manage the run of local applications in support of business needs.
• Manage the delivery of infrastructure services (from both internal and external providers)
• Provide and manage customer service and helpdesk support

Business Development:
• Provide effective IT support to the business development function – presales to implementation.
• IT account management responsibility for in-country customers.

Regional / Global IT Team:
• Create strong relationships at regional / global level within the IT community to ensure maximum leverage of resources / solutions to support local requirements.

Process Responsibility:
• Ownership for development and delivery of the country IT budget
• Implement the IT Operating Model within the country structure.
• Ensure implementation of divisional standards e.g. ITIL

People Management:
• Develop and maintain a motivated IT Team of competent managers and staff
• Ongoing assessment of the skills and competency’s within the IT Team – ensuring training and development plans are in place to address any gaps / needs.
• Determine the IS organizational structure, roles, critical success factors and goals
• Communication – ensure effective communication structure in place i.e. weekly / monthly team meetings.

Company Requires:
• Minimum 8-10 years experience within IT, accompanied with a wide experience at senior level in a service oriented business
• University bachelor degree in a business discipline or relevant education and work experience preferably in Logistic sector
• Preferably good knowledge of logistics business
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
